Microphone Not Working gaming computer builder

Having issues with my computer properly picking up my headset. It's a Turtle Beach PX24. I've connected it through several jacks being the tower jacks located at the top of the tower and the jacks directly connected to the motherboard.

In all cases, I can hear just fine and I am getting feedback from my mic when I speak, so that's all working properly, but nobody can hear me. I've gone into my settings to look at what the issue is and it says that one of two things are not plugged in.

Starting with the jacks on the top of the tower (both the headphone and mic jacks), only the mic registers r as being plugged in whereas the headset jack doesn't register as being plugged in. Now when trying all six jacks connecting directly into the motherboard, it either has it as the line-in being unplugged or the mic being unplugged (with their respective pink and blue jacks, but I tried all six just because it's not working anyway).

So I've been doing mic checks and nothing comes through, which is why nobody can hear me, but I can't have both the mic plugged in through the mic jack and the line-in plugged in through its own respective jack at once, and I am not finding any solutions to this.

Help would be appreciated.
