Integrated gpu for senod monitor question! gaming computer builder

Hello! First, sorry for typos, i'm currently on mobile.

Second; sorry if this is wrong sub for this.

My setup is currently gtx 980ti and overclocked i5 6600k.

I have two monitors, 144hz benq for gaming and old vga monitor via hdmi->vga converter.

I used both of them via gtx980ti but it increased my gpu temp alot which increased the fan noise. Sometimes watching streams and netflix caused weird strutter on the 2nd monitor. I researched a bit and from my understanding, it was caused by two different monitors running different hz.

I enabled the integrated gpu from uefi/bios, and set the second monitor to my motherboards hdmi plug. So far i haven't experienced any strutter with videos.

Question is, does this setup have any disadvantages to gaming performance? I'm still running w7 and i don't want to upgrade till dx12 is a real thing. I have 16gb of ddr4 ram with slight modifications to latency values for increased performance.

Does using the iGPU decrease my CPU performance besides increasing temps which i don't think will be an issue (noctua u12-s cooler).

Thank you and sorry for bothering you with my question!

Edit: damn that typo on the title.. im so sorry i have really big fingers.
