I need some help deciding what type of Laptop to get for creating content/streaming. gaming computer builder

I am not the most tech savvy person out there but I know a thing or two. I also don't have the space or lifestyle to warrant putting together a PC desktop. I am a huge console gaming enthusiast and would love to start streaming and capturing content that I play on my consoles but the 2011 Macbook Pro that I have doesn't have an i7 processor and therefore cannot handle the streaming/capture device I have to its fullest potential.

I know the general consensus is, "build a PC" but its just not in the cards for me right now. I am just looking for something that can edit videos in high resolution and also handle recording my gameplay while streaming as well. I'm not looking for a gaming laptop really.

I also am not stuck on Apple products either so Windows is fine with me as well. I just need a multipurpose device to get what I need out of it. If anyone could point me in the right direction or at least tell me the components I should be looking for in a Laptop that would be great!
