Fairly new computer won't recognize cd drive suddenly? gaming computer builder

I have a faily new computer with windows 10 which suddenly stopped recognizing the cd drive.

The drive will open and close and has power, but its not listed under "drives" or anywhere in the computer. When I put a disc in it does nothing.

I tried to check and see if the drivers were out of date but it says there is no disc drive.

Any suggestions?
