Does increasing the resolution of a game affect the CPU temperature? gaming computer builder

I am thinking of running Witcher 3 on 4k and I was wondering if the resolution of the game affect the temperature of the CPU by a lot. I know that CPU just process the logic and tells the GPU what to render. The GPU then spawn enough frag shaders to render the image at the resolution. However I don't really know how this affect the CPU temperature in real life.
