Deleting files requires administrative permission, but my account is the administrator. I am not sure what to do. gaming computer builder

As the title says, I have some module files for some steam games in the steam folder (obviously) which is inside my Program Files (x86) folder. I can not delete the modules inside because I get a message saying I have to receive permissions from the administrator, but I am the administrator. So any help would be welcomed, this problem has just appeared even though I have had my laptop for about 5 months now. I only have one account and it is an Alienware G3.
