2010 Compaq or brand new Acer Aspire E1? gaming computer builder

Hi! First time here, not sure if I'm in the right subreddit. I need help choosing between these two laptops.

There's a second hand 2010 Compaq CQ62 - Intel i5 CPU 2.7gHz, 8GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, Windows 10 Pro. Going for AUD200, so like USD140.

In the shops I was looking at the Acer Aspire E1: AMD A4-5000 processor, 4GB RAM, 500 HHD, Windows 10 Home. AUD400, double the price.

My question is on paper it looks like the specs for the Compaq is better, but the laptop is from 7 years old, refurbished from a computer repair shop. Should I get that or the Aspire?
