How much does Fake-Tech support really know? gaming computer builder

I am a computer major in college and im absolutely shocked that i was even a target (meaning that i do not know how i let them into my system). I know its a load of $h!t but how will i know that their tracker is off my computer? I was to be sure that they dont have some sort of background-virus/logger running on my PC.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I have MalwareBytes Premium, if that helps.

P.S. How much do they know before they start calling you to attempt their scam?
