Downgrade issue gaming computer builder

I'm having a spot of trouble downgrading my Windows 10 to Windows 7. I enter my license on the windows website and it tells me:

The product key you entered appears to be for software pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options.

I have no bloody clue who was the manufacturer. I believe this thing was build by my local computer company, which has gone out of business. Suffice it to say, I don't know who to contact.

The main reason that I want to downgrade is because my Disc keeps maxing at 100%, and I don't remember it doing that back on W7. If you have an alternative solution for this issue that doesn't require me to downgrade, that'd be perfect.
